WOODBRIDGE CLAIMS EIGHTH DOUBLES CROWN
Todd Woodbridge won a record-equalling eighth Wimbledon men's doubles title on Saturday when he teamed up with Jonas Bjorkman to lift the trophy.
The Australian-Swedish pairing successfully defended the crown they won last year by seeing off top seeds Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi 3-6 6-3 7-6 (7/4) 6-3 on Centre Court.
Woodbridge famously won the doubles title on six occasions with fellow Aussie Mark Woodforde before the latter retired.
