Verdict: With an impressive backhand, Kremer is another of the WTA Tour's leading players who has little time for the grass.
Clay is Kremer's favourite surface.
Her Grand Slam singles record is a poor one. Reaching the third round of the recent French Open equalled her best-ever showing in the world's top four events.
Lost in the opening round here last year - a performance repeated three times in her career.
A good run on North America's hardcourts earlier this season will be of no use to Kremer here. Expect an early exit.
