Anna Kournikova's last hope of a title at Wimbledon 2002 was dashed on Court One.

Kournikova, who had two double-faults in her final service game, and Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman were beaten 6-4 6-2 in the mixed doubles quarter-finals by her fellow Russian Elena Likhovtseva and India's Mahesh Bhupathi.

Earlier Kournikova and American Chanda Rubin lost to Venus and Serena Williams in the ladies' doubles semi-finals.
