 WIMBLEDON MEN'S SEEDS

(3) ANDRE AGASSI (USA)

Date of Birth: 29.04.70
Became pro: 1986
World Ranking: 4

Verdict: Agassi, third in the 2001 Champions Race, continues to defy his age.

Now 32, the Las Vegas kid picked up a wrist injury which forced him to miss the Australian Open in January, but after people had questioned whether the injury would spell the end for Agassi, he bounced back to win the NASDAQ Open in March.

Recently reached the quarter-finals of the French Open, but as per usual, little is known about his grass form as he has not played in any warm-up events.

Still, he is a consistent performer here and has been to the semi-finals in each of the last two years, losing the final the season before that.

With his brilliant return of serve, he is a match for any of the booming servers. Definitely one to watch.
