Petrova has seven career titles to her name, including one in Paris earlier this season, but the former world number three has always struggled to make an impact at the highest level. That's not a family trait - her parents were both top-class athletes, mum Nadejda Ilina winning a bronze medal in the 4x400m relay at the 1976 Olympics. Made the final in LA recently but hasn't beaten a top-10-ranked player since February, so it's hard to see her making a big impact here.
