After a breakthrough year in 2005, this rising star picked up her first WTA Tour title in Acapulco (on clay) earlier this season and then climbed to a career-high ranking position of 14th thanks to a win run of form across the spring. Made the quarter-finals at Roland Garros (her best Grand Slam result) to boost confidence further, but has yet to perform as well on the faster surfaces. Making week two for the first time here looks an achieveable goal.
