If there's anyone left out there who doesn't know, Dementieva is a highly-talented player who is repeatedly let down by one facet of her game - the serve. When it cracks, Dementieva serves double fault after double fault. It's a problem which means backing the Russian is a dangerous business. Certainly she's struggling to go seven matches without being struck down by 'serving sickness', as she needs to do here. Has a good record in the Big Apple and should go well, but not all the way.
