The 'Fed Express' was victorious in Toronto the other week but never looked totally convincing. He was then sensationally beaten by Andy Murray in Cincinnati last time out, losing in straight sets to the British teenager. His draw has not been kind but the Swiss is still a rightful jolly for glory at Flushing Meadows, where he is unbeaten in his last 14 matches in a run that stretches all the way back to 2003. Still the man to beat on hardcourts.
