  • There was another capacity crowd at the O2 Arena to see Novak Djokovic take on Tomas Berdych.
  • Djokovic flew out of the blocks and took the first set 6-2.
  • Berdych improved in the second set and an intriguing contest was on the cards.
  • But Djokovic prevailed as the set went into a tie-break and the new world No 1 booked his place in the semi finals.

  • Tsonga, meanwhile, had to win the match 2-0 if he was to reach the last four.
  • Murray powered through the opening set and took it 6-2 to the delight of a packed audience at the O2 Arena.
  • Things were not going well for French ace Tsonga, but he raised his game in the second set despite his hopes of qualifying having been ended.
  • However, Murray did not want three sets and prevailed in the tie-break to win the match 2-0.
