Scotland's doubles expert Jamie Murray has revealed he will pair up with Max Mirnyi next year.
Murray, 21, won four doubles titles with American Eric Butorac in 2007 but their partnership ended after the US Open.
Butorac and Murray had tagged themselves 'Booty and Stretch' and looked to have a bright future as a partnership before splitting.
In the second half of the year Murray entered doubles events with James Blake, Mahesh Bhupathi, Jordan Kerr, Mark Knowles and brother Andy.
Belarus player Mirnyi, nicknamed 'The Beast', now looks set to be his regular partner for 2008.
Florida-based Mirnyi, 30, won the Australian Open men's doubles with Jonas Bjorkman last year to take his grand slam haul to five titles.
Murray told The Herald: "I didn't think it would happen, if I'm honest.
"It took me a while to find someone. I held off and held off, but I think I have found the right one now."
The Great Britain Davis Cup player said of Mirnyi: "He serves big, volleys well and has a great presence. I think he's a great player."
Murray won his first grand slam in July when he and Jelena Jankovic captured the mixed doubles Wimbledon title.
