Argentina's Guillermo Coria will miss this summer's French Open and Wimbledon in order to rest an elbow injury.
The 24-year-old, runner-up at Roland Garros in 2004, has endured a dismal campaign in 2006 and will sit out the next two Grand Slams to overcome the tendonitis which has plagued the elbow joint in recent months.
Coria is currently 21st in the world rankings, his lowest position since 2003, and has been eliminated in the first round of three consecutive tournaments - Munich, Rome and Hamburg.
