Hantuchova tested in Marrakech
Top seed and wild card Daniela Hantuchova struggled past world number 176 Renata Voracova to book her place in the second round of the Marrakech Grand Prix in Morocco.

The 30-year-old Hantuchova was broken three times in a poor first set but recovered her poise to edge through 3-6 6-2 7-5 in a match lasting two hours and 12 minutes.
But Ukrainian second seed Elina Svitolina crashed out to world number 79 Patricia Mayr-Achleitner, who came through 7-6 (2) 3-6 6-2 in two hours and 19 minutes.
Fourth seed Bojana Jovanovski was another casualty, going down 6-2 6-2 to Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor of Spain, and eighth seed Francesca Schiavone was embarrassed by Spanish qualifier and world number 246 Beatriz Garcia Vidagany 6-3 6-2.
Fifth seed Garbine Muguruza and sixth seed Shuai Peng advanced at the expense of Julia Glushko and Ons Jabeur, respectively.
Qualifiers Maryna Zanevska and Lara Arruabarrena battled through to the next stage and there were also wins for Estrella Cabeza Candela, Romina Oprandi, Alison Van Uytvanck, and Stefanie Voegele.
