Harrison exits in Memphis
Ryan Harrison exited the US National Indoor Tennis Championships at the last 16 on an otherwise good day for the home competitors.

Harrison went down 6-3 2-6 6-2 to Alex Bogomolov Jr on a day when three of his countrymen advanced.
Jack Sock went through to the quarter-finals with a comfortable 6-2 6-1 win over the Czech Republic's Jiri Vesely.
In Wednesday's two all-American clashes, qualifier Denis Kudla was a 6-1 6-1 winner over Donald Young while Michael Russell was made to fight for his 6-2 7-6 (7/5) win over Tim Smyczek.
In the day's final game, Japanese top seed Kei Nishikori advanced with a 6-4 6-4 win over Germany's Benjamin Becker.
It was far from easy for Nishikori, who came through on the crunch points as he saved five of seven break points he faced in the first set while converting all three that he created.
He moves on to a quarter-final with Bogomolov.
