Matosevic dumped out in Memphis
Fifth seed Marinko Matosevic was knocked out in the first round of the US National Indoor Championships in Memphis on Monday.

The Australian held a 26-place ranking advantage over Czech Jiri Vesely but was beaten 6-3 6-2 in an hour and 11 minutes, dropping his serve three times in the second set.
Meanwhile, American Michael Russell came from a set down to knock out seventh seed Michal Przysiezny.
The Pole took the opener after breaking serve three times but Russell rallied to win 3-6 6-3 6-1 in an hour and 55 minutes.
In the day's other match, American Tim Smyczek came from a set down to beat Australian qualifier Nick Kyrgios 6-7 (5/7) 6-4 6-3, who struggled on serve after pinching a nerve in his arm.
