Berdych edges past Davydenko
Third seed Tomas Berdych is through to the last-16 of the Barcelona Open after dispatching Nikolay Davydenko in three sets.

The Russian came into the match having won nine of the pair's 13 meetings and was on course for victory again after he took the first set.
But the world number six was not to be outdone and fought back to claim a 3-6 7-5 6-4 win.
Philipp Kohlschreiber was another seed to advance but he was made to fight by Andrey Kuznetsov.

Thomaz Bellucci was given a major scare by Pablo Carreno-Busta in the final match of the day but he finally prevailed 6-7 (5/7) 6-3 7-5 in a contest that lasted just short of two-and-three-quarter hours.
In first-round action, Tommy Robredo won an all-Spanish affair against Marc Lopez 2-6 6-2 6-2 while Carlos Berlocq beat Daniel Gimeno-Traver 7-5 6-4 to set up a clash with second seed Rafael Nadal.
Albert Ramos is into the second round after beating Jan-Lennard Struff 6-4 7-6 (7/2) while Bernard Tomic defeated Kenny De Schepper 6-4 4-6 6-2.
Blaz Kavcic claimed a convincing 6-3 6-0 win over Alejandro Falla and Edouard Roger-Vasselin beat Jan Hajek 6-2 6-7 (1/7) 6-2.
