Erakovic takes maiden title
Marina Erakovic won the first WTA title of her career and the first by a New Zealander since 1989 as injury forced Sabine Lisicki to retire one set down in the final of the US National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis.

Erakovic, 24, took the first set 6-1 and then found herself celebrating victory as third seed Lisicki decided she could not continue.
The men's final will see Spain's Feliciano Lopez do battle with Japan's Kei Nishikori.
Fifth seed Nishikori also benefitted from a retirement, winning the first set 6-4 before Marinko Matosevic pulled out.
Lopez went the distance but secured a 6-3 3-6 6-3 win over Uzbek Denis Istomin.
