Querrey sneaks past Hewitt
Third seed Sam Querrey outlasted former world number one Lleyton Hewitt in three sets to book his place in the quarter-finals of the SAP Open in San Jose.

Australian Hewitt broke three times compared to only once from his opponent and won more points overall, but still slipped to a 7-6 (8/6) 1-6 7-6 (7/4) defeat.
Querrey advanced to a quarter-final with Colombia's Alejandro Falla, who ousted another Australian, seventh seed Marinko Matosevic, 6-4 6-4.
Top seed Milos Raonic of Canada saw off Michael Russell of the United States 6-2 7-5 in an hour and three minutes.
He will next face sixth seed Denis Istomin, who beat Germany's Benjamin Becker 6-3 6-7 (5/7) 6-2.
Wildcard Steve Johnson needed just 58 minutes to overcome qualifier Tim Smyczek 6-3 6-3 in their all-American clash, while eighth seed Xavier Malisse was a 5-7 7-5 7-6 (7/1) winner over Australia's Matthew Ebden.
