Murray eighth seed for US Open
British men's number one Andy Murray has been seeded eighth for this year's US Open.

Murray, who has struggled to find consistency on the court since returning to the game after undergoing back surgery in September last year, is seeded one place higher than his current world ranking.
The Scot made the semi-finals of this year's French Open but was knocked out of the Australian Open and Wimbledon at the quarter-final stage.
With Rafael Nadal unable to defend his title due to a wrist injury, world number one Novak Djokovic is the men's top seed, with five-times US Open champion Roger Federer the second seed, which means the arch rivals can only meet in this year's final at Flushing Meadows.
Australian Open winner Stanislas Wawrinka is seeded third, with Spain's David Ferrer fourth and Milos Raonic of Canada rounding off the top five.
Czech Tomas Berdych has been awarded the sixth seed, with Murray's Wimbledon conqueror Grigor Dimitrov seventh.
France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Kei Nishikori of Japan round off the top 10.
The singles draws will be announced on Thursday, with first-round action getting under way on Monday.
2013 semi-finalist Richard Gasquet is seeded 12th, with John Isner the highest-ranked American in 13th.
