Liezel Huber and Bob Bryan justified their top seeding by claiming the French Open mixed doubles title.
They won a tight final against the American-Brazilian pairing of Vania King and Marcelo Melo 5-7 7-6 (7/5) 10-7 on Thursday evening in Paris.
The US duo raced into a 2-0 lead in the first set but Huber's serve was broken in game eight as King and Melo levelled up.
Serving to stay in the set, Huber's delivery was broken again in game 12 and when she sat down the American required treatment for what looked like a stomach muscle injury.
Despite that problem, Huber was more solid in the serve-dominated second set.
A tie-break was required and the top seeds took it 7-5 to force a title-deciding champions' tie-break.
In the first-to-10 race, Huber and Bryan were never headed and took it by 10 points to seven to claim the title.
Victory meant Bryan kept his grip on the trophy - he was the defending champion having won with Katarina Srebotnik 12 months ago.
It was also his second Grand Slam title of the season, having already won the Australian Open men's doubles with brother Mike, and proved some consolation for the twins' semi-final defeat earlier in the day.
