VERDICT
Vaidisova has been playing on the WTA Tour so long it sees incredible that she is still only a teenager. It was back in 2004 that the Czech became the sixth youngest player to win a WTA title - aged just 15 years and three months - and she has since developed into a contender at the majors. Made the semis here two years ago and the quarters last season, but has struggled to win a match on the tour of late as she's been hindered by a wrist problem. It's therefore asking a lot for her to go deep into the tournament again this time around.
