VERDICT
Rewind 12 months and you learn a lot about Ivanovic. The Serb with the model looks proved her talent with a run to the final here but then suffered a severe case of nerves as she was crushed by Justine Henin. That has not been an isolated case, although she did put up a greater fight in this year's Australian Open final. However, she has still to win at the highest level. Won in Indian Wells recently and also made the semis in Berlin, so perhaps this could be the tournament that brings Ivanovic her major breakthrough.
