Soared into the spotlight at Wimbledon last season where she finished runner-up and caused one of the biggest upsets in the tournament's history by beating Justine Henin in the semis. A string of other good results - based on an excellent defensive game - propelled her into the world's top 10 but this year she is struggling to live up to increased expectation.
