Is the great man finally on the slide? That's a question that's been asked a lot so far this season. It started with Federer failing to make a Grand Slam final for the first time in 11 attempts at the Australian Open in January and it took him until April to land his first title of the season - his only one to date. However, Federer remains one of the world's best on any surface and it will take a good player to beat him. That man has been Rafael Nadal here in the past three years and it would be no surprise to see that happen again - as has been the case in two claycourt Masters Series finals this term.
