Having burst onto the scene so dramatically at Wimbledon in 2004, Sharapova proved she is no one-Slam wonder by winning last year's US Open. That sparked a consistent run of form which also took her to the final of the Australian Open. However, once there she suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Serena Williams - something that was repeated in Miami. Since then she's struggled with a shoulder problem. Lack of matches is hardly the ideal way to prepare for a Slam on your least favourite surface. Hard to see her winning.
