Another product of the famous Nick Bolletieri academy, Jankovic may be beginning to pay for playing a gruelling schedule over the past two years. Picked up a hamstring injury at the recent Hopman Cup, but refused to quit saying she was determined to represent her country. Jankovic is a former junior champion at this tournament and her happy-go-lucky attitude on court make her a favourite among the fans, but even that support will mean little unless she is fully fit in Melbourne. It's not rocket science to suggest she will struggle if she continues to play while not 100 per cent.
