VERDICT

The Serb with the model looks justified the hype surrounding her with an impressive 2007 campaign, one which saw her reach her first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros. However, question marks remain regarding her big-match temperament as nerves affected her both in that Paris final and at Wimbledon a few weeks later. Her form dipped slightly in the second half of the year and she will be looking to regain top form here. Has a solid all-round game and so should reach the latter stages, but will need to show more steel if she is to win the title.
