VERDICT

2007 was a great season for the Russian as he cracked the world's top 10 for the first time. It was notable for an impressive start to the campaign and Youzhny has again come flying out of the traps. He won the warm-up tournament in Chennai, thrashing a tired Rafael Nadal for the loss of just one game in the final, and that should stand him in good stead here. However, a disappointing Grand Slam record fails to provide further encouragement. Aside from that, Youzhny could be decent outside bet.
