The biggest server in the game - he once slammed down a delivery at 155mph - Roddick appears to be struggling to hang on to the coat tails of his supposed peers. Too often he came up short against his top-10 colleagues in 2007, while his notoriously poor record against Roger Federer seems to have become something of a mental problem - does Roddick really think he can win a Grand Slam with the Swiss in the field? Has a good record in Melbourne with three semi-final appearances, but whether the new Plexicushion will be fast enough for him, at least this year, has to be a doubt.
