Former world number one Juan Carlos Ferrero claimed his first title for more than five years in the Grand Prix Hassan II in Casablanca on Sunday.
Ferrero, who won the French Open in 2003 and reached the US Open final later the same year, beat France's Florent Serra in straight sets in a match featuring an amazing 10 breaks of serve.
There were five breaks in the opening set before Ferrero surprisingly served out to love to take it 6-4 after 48 minutes.
Fifth seed Serra, who had won both previous meetings between the pair, moved into a 3-1 lead in the second set but it was no surprise when he was immediately broken once again.
And the unseeded Ferrero, 29, eventually held his nerve to seal a 6-4 7-5 victory in 98 minutes.
