Novak Djokovic was not awed by playing in his first ATP Tour final.
The 19-year-old Serbian posted a 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 triumph over Nicolas Massu in the Dutch Open final on Sunday to claim his first tour title.
The third-seeded Djokovic started the year ranked 78th in the world but moved up to 36th after reaching the Zagreb semi-finals and the French Open quarter-finals.
His ranking will improve again Monday after his triumph over Massu at the $380,000 claycourt event.
The fourth seed from Chile and a double gold medalist at the 2004 Olympics, Massu slipped to 1-3 in finals this year and 6-8 in his career.
One of his titles came here in 2003, when he defeated Raemon Sluiter in the final.
