Andy Roddick was all business as he cruised past in-form German Nicolas Kiefer to land his second RCA Championship title in as many years.
Top seed Roddick became the first repeat champion at the RCA since Pete Sampras in 1992 after recording a 6-2 6-3 win.
Roddick was appearing in his third straight final and his win ensured a fourth ATP title of the year.
Kiefer, who has lost four ATP finals this year, tried to stay positive after his defeat.
Speaking after the match the German said: "I have to think positive and you have to make it to four finals first.
"I've been working very hard to find my old game. I've worked hard to make the final but I was unable to raise my game another level.
"I just couldn't pick up my game and you have to pick up your game one more step and I wasn't able to do it today. I had a very slow start and everything was going so fast."
