Gustavo Kuerten scored an impressive straights-sets win over Pat Rafter to lift the Masters Series event in Cincinatti on Sunday.

The Brazailian eased to a 6-1 6-3 victory in under an hour to claim top-spot in the ATP Champions Race.

Guga, who beat Tim Henman earlier in the afternoon to secure his place in the final, now leads Andre Agassi by 59 points.

For Rafter it was a third consecutive final loss after his appearances at Wimbledon and Montreal.
