Juan Martin del Potro claimed his second ATP Tour title just a week after his first by seeing off local favourite Jurgen Melzer 6-2 6-1 in the final of the Austrian Open.
The dominating win capped an impressive fortnight for the 19-year-old Argentinian, who captured his maiden tour title at Stuttgart last Sunday with a win over Richard Gasquet and has now won 10 straight matches.
"It's another dream for me, another tournament," he said.
"In two weeks I played 10 matches and won all of them. This week I didn't lose a set so I'm very happy.
"I have served very well both weeks and I think I changed a little bit my mind(set), I was always concentrating.
"When you play big matches you have to be focused all the time and now I am getting focused on the important points and that's the difference."
Ranked 44th in the world, del Potro became the second player to win back-to-back tournaments on the tour this season, joining Rafael Nadal, who has done it twice.
Del Potro also extended a strong showing by players from Argentina at this clay-court tournament, becoming the fifth to win here in the last six years.
Despite having a partisan crowd in his favour, the sixth-seeded Melzer could not prevent himself from falling to his sixth defeat in seven career ATP finals.
Del Potro converted five of his 10 break opportunities and dropped just six points on his serve en route to sealing the match in 59 minutes.
Melzer was the first Austrian to make the final at Kitzbuhel since Thomas Muster finished as the runner-up to Albert Costa in 1995.
"Of course it's disappointing to lose a final, especially when it's at home, but Juan Martin played unbelievably," he Melzer.
"He didn't miss a ball and I was struggling from the beginning.
"I've always struggled to play in Kitzbuhel and being in the final this year is a very special thing for me and having had the chance to take the title home would have been really great."
