Top seed Novak Djokovic won the BA-CA Tennis Trophy in Vienna after beating Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets on Sunday.
Serbian Djokovic took the first set 6-4 before racing through the second set 6-0 against the world number 41 from Switzerland.
With the decisive win, world number three Djokovic claimed his fifth title of the season and the seventh of his budding career.
He is an ATP-best 65-14 this season and has clinched a spot in November's Tennis Masters Cup at Shanghai - an event reserved for the top eight players in the ATP points race at the end of the season.
"It feels great," Djokovic said. "I was saying yesterday that it feels good to get in another final but now I feel even happier to win another title and just confirm my great shape this year, especially in the last couple of months.
"It's good that I started my indoor matches with a win in the Vienna tournament and now I can say that I'm ready for the big ones in Madrid and Paris and Shanghai."
The 20-year-old had lost to Wawrinka in two of their previous three meetings, including the final at Umag in 2006 when Djokovic was forced to retire with breathing difficulties.
But Wawrinka had no such luck on Sunday.
"It was very difficult against Novak," said Wawrinka.
"I think he was too strong for me today. He played a great first set, it was close but he won 6-4 and then he was playing more aggressive and he was too fast for me and I could not do anything."
After nailing down the first set, Djokovic lost only four points in the second set en route to the victory.
"The second set was really, really good," Djokovic said. "It was like a harmony, I couldn't imagine playing better."
