David Ferrer claimed the Japan Open title on Sunday with an emphatic win over third seed Richard Gasquet.
The top-seeded Spaniard was rarely troubled by his French opponent as he recorded a 6-1 6-2 victory to lift his third singles trophy of the year and fifth of his career.
Ferrer, who is ranked eighth in the world, has also won tournaments in Auckland and Bastad in 2007.
Victory for Ferrer puts him sixth in the ATP Champions Race and on course to qualify for the season-ending Masters Cup which will feature the year's top eight players.
