Carlos Moya claimed his fifth title at Umag after defeating Andrei Pavel to win the Studena Croatia Open on Sunday.
The sixth-seed Spaniard, who also won the tournament in 1996 and three times between 2001 and 2003, swept aside the unseeded Romanian with a convincing 6-4 6-2 triumph.
Moya recorded nine aces to clinch his 20th career ATP title and his first since Buenos Aires last year.
Moya cruised through the draw, not dropping a set and losing no more than nine games against any opponent.
The 30-year-old's toughest match was a 7-5 6-4 victory over fourth seed and countryman David Ferrer in Friday's quarter-finals.
Pavel, who reached his first final of the year by despatching surprise qualifier Viktor Troicki 6-3 6-3, was undone by Moya's powerful service game, the former world number one converting 82% of his first service points.
Pavel, who rallied from a set down to beat number seven seed Filippo Volandri in the quarter-finals on Friday, had no such magic on Sunday, conceding the second set in just over 30 minutes as he ran out of answers against his experienced opponent.
