Tommy Robredo claimed his second ATP title of the year on Sunday with an impressive performance in the final of the Synsam Swedish Open.
The second-seeded Spaniard comprehensively outplayed Russian Nikolay Davydenko as he registered a 6-2 6-1 triumph in just one hour and 15 minutes.
Robredo, 24, was beaten in the final at Barcelona by Rafael Nadal earlier this year before winning his first ATP Masters Series event at Hamburg.
Davydenko, the top seed in Bastad, was also playing in his third final of 2006 having lost out to David Nalbandian in Estoril only to bounce back three weeks later with victory at Portschach.
Ranked fifth in the world, Davydenko had won their only prior meeting, a five-set triumph in the quarter-finals of last year's French Open.
Last year's champion Nadal, who has won a record 60 straight matches on clay, pulled out of his defence of the title shortly before the tournament because of fatigue.
