David Nalbandian had a most successful return to the site of his first ATP Tour crown.
The top seed from Argentina, Nalbandian defeated second-seeded Russian Nikolay Davydenko, 6-3 6-4, on Sunday to win the $667,600 Estoril claycourt event.
Nalbandian won the first of his five ATP Tour titles here in 2002 but has not played here since.
