Mardy Fish came from behind to beat Jurgen Melzer and win the US Men's Clay Court Championships in Houston.
Searching for his first career ATP Tour title, Melzer blew an early advantage and fell to the American Fish, 3-6 6-3 6-4.
It was only a second title for Fish, who has appeared in seven finals. He last won at Stockholm in 2003.
Melzer has now appeared in three finals without success.
