Roger Federer claimed his second
title on the ATP Tour after winning the adidas International against
Argentinian qualifier Juan Ignacio Chela.
Federer, seeded two, needed just 50 minutes to triumph 6-3 6-3 as he warmed up
for next week's Australian Open in fine style.
The Swiss, seeded 11 in Melbourne, where he faces a tricky first round clash
with Michael Chang, won the first set by breaking Chela in the sixth game.
Federer also broke early in the second and then clinched the match on his
second championship point.
