Italian Andrea Gaudenzi claimed his third ATP title after sweeping aside Bohdan Ulihrach in straight sets in the final of the Swedish Open.
Gaudenzi could not hide his delight after seeing off the Czech 7-5 6-3 in one hour and 15 minutes in front of a full house in Bastad.
"This has been a great, great week," said the 27-year-old.
"It's always fantastic to play in front of a full stadium, that's why we play this game.
"It's never easy, even if it looks like it is sometimes. I tried to keep him (Ulihrach) on the forehand and keep the ball long and play aggressively but it was difficult because the wind was weird today."
"It's great to win another final because before I won my first title (1998 Casablanca), I lost in five finals in a row, now I've won three consecutive finals."
For Ulihrach, it was a case of what could have been after his impressive run leading up to the final.
The unseeded Czech had already knocked out third seed Albert Portas of Spain in the quarter-finals and sent defending champion Magnus Norman packing in the semi's.
But the Italian proved to be a bridge too far for the man from Kolin.
"The wind was difficult but he played better and definitely deserved to win," said the Czech.
"I wasn't my usual self and didn't play like yesterday or the day before that. I wanted to turn the match around but I wasn't able to."
