Spain's Alberto Martin beat fourth-seeded Argentinian Guillermo Coria in three sets to win the Mallorca Open title.
A day after dumping Carlos Moya out in the semi-finals, he scored a 6-3 3-6 6-2 victory for his first title since 1999
"To win here in front of the Spanish fans is the maximum," Martin said.
"I had a good feeling in the beginning of the match, but I kind of lost the feeling in the second set."
Martin had lost his only previous meeting with Coria in the quarter-finals of the Masters Series event in Monte Carlo two weeks ago.
Martin won clay-court titles at Casablanca and Bucharest in 1999.
Coria, 19, was in his second final of the year, having already won at Vina del Mar, Chile in February.
