Wolves duo George Elokobi and Ronald Zubar have both apologised after turning up late for their trip to Blackburn on Saturday.
The duo failed to report on time at the team hotel, and as a result Elokobi was dropped from the starting XI and Zubar was omitted from the squad altogether.
Both players have been quick to offer their apologies.
"I'm very disappointed with everything that happened at the weekend," said Elokobi.
"It's my responsibility as a player to be at the team meeting and I wasn't there so I received my just punishment.
"I've taken the gaffer's decision and all I can do is hold my hands up.
"I've said sorry to the gaffer and the rest of the boys and would also like to apologise to the fans as well because I've let everyone down at the club.
"I'm always early in at the training ground and it's not in my character to be late but it was one of those things that happened.
"It's certainly never going to happen again in my entire career.
"I've never been late for anything before but it's my responsibility and I've apologised.
"It's disappointing for me as well because I want to play games and so what happened is hard to take and still is now when I'm talking about it.
"But it's gone now, it's done and dusted, and I'm working hard as usual to get ready for the next game.
"There are no hard feelings and you know with the gaffer that he moves on.
"He knows I'm truly sorry and he knows me more than anyone and knows that it was out of character."
Zubar added: "I am sorry to everyone for being late and will make sure it doesn't happen again."
