Lee - reached last four in 2003 (Getty Images).

(5) STEPHEN LEE

World Ranking: 5
Provisional Ranking: 8
Date Of Birth: 12/10/74
World Championship best: Semi-finals - 2003.

Now an established member of the world's top eight, Lee will be looking to emulate last year's display in Sheffield when he reached the last four for the first time.

Lee, renowned for his fine cue action, was finally beaten by eventual winner Mark Williams.

This term has been a pretty decent one for the reserved Westcountryman, his best displays coming at the British and European Opens where he reached the semi-finals.

Has three ranking titles to his name, but the last one came back in 2002.

Has a chance here but there appear to be more likely winners.
