The Australian Rugby Union has targeted Western Australia as their third biggest market outside NSW and Queensland and as a result have made a concerted effort to bring Test rugby to Perth.

The locals, reared on Aussie Rules at Subiaco Oval, are in for a treat during the World Cup with England's clash against South Africa arguably the tie of the pool stages.

The 43,000-seat stadium, which hosted its first rugby Test in 1998, is usually home to Aussie Rules sides the West Coast Eagles and the Fremantle Dockers.
