CALEB RALPH

Born: 10.09.77
Height: 6ft 1in
Weight: 14st 6lb
Position: Wing
Club: Canterbury
Caps: 11
Points: 20

A solid winger who has scored four tries in his 11 appearances for the All Blacks, Ralph made his Test debut back in 1998 against England in Auckland.

But his next appearance in the famous black jersey didn't come until 2002, when he returned in style against Italy, scoring three tries in current coach John Mitchell's first match in charge.

From that moment on he has been a key part of the All Blacks squad, playing a key role in the left wing position.

Ralph represented New Zealand in the 1997 Rugby World Cup Sevens, and after spells with the Chiefs and the Blues, settled with the Crusaders.

A former centre, Ralph is a fine defender and although he is not as explosive as some of his rivals for the wing spot, will do a good job if called upon.
