Wallace came into the squad as a late replacement for provincial team-mate Jonathon Bell, who was forced out by Achilles trouble.
Yet to win a cap for the full Ireland side but has been a regular in their A side in recent times and has played over 20 times for his province.
A talented Sevens player and one of the up-and-coming starlets in Irish rugby, Wallace will probably be on the fringes Down Under.
