Having made his debut against England in the 2000 Six Nations competiton, Lo Cicero has established himself as his country's number one open-side prop.
He had the tough task of replacing Massimo Cuttita in the Italian front row, but his solid scrummaging, pace and good ball-handling skills soon won over his doubters.
Lo Cicero hails from Sicily - hardly a rugby hot-bed - and plays his club rugby for Lazio and Primavera.
