Dallan made his debut at centre against France in January 1999, before switching to the left flank against Scotland and Wales.
It was from that wing that he crossed for an Italian try against England at Twickenham in 2001 and with his experience and pace he remains a valuable squad member.
Happy in either centre position or on the wing but probably most at home in the number 11 shirt, Dallan is joined in the squad by brother Manuel.
