A talented Sevens player, Benatti's inclusion was something of a surprise given his last Test appearance came in March of 2002.
That suggests the Viadana man is down the pecking order of John Kirwan and as such is unlikely to get much game time Down Under.
Kirwan rates the youngster, though, and will count upon the experience benefitting him.
